Project Overview
EnviX Ltd. conducted a project to assess compliance with Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety regulations in 2 Japanese manufacturers of industrial tape products in Hung Yen, Vietnam. We provided clients with a compliance checklist that incorporates the latest regulations in the fields of environment, chemical, energy, greenhouse gas, fire safety, electrical safety, safety for hazardous equipment, ensuring that active manufacturing facilities remain up to date with regulatory requirements.
Our consulting team in Vietnam carried out a pre-assessment review by collecting essential information and documentation related to Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety management. This included Environmental Impact Assessments, Waste Source Registration Books, Environmental Protection Reports, Chemical Lists, Chemical Incident Prevention and Response Measures, Approval Fire design & acceptance records, hazardous equipment inspection & management, occupational health & safety records, etc.
We also conducted on-site assessments at the client's facility for three days. This process involves a detailed review of relevant documents, interviews with responsible personnel and workers, and an on-site inspection of management practices, including the production line, utility area, hazardous waste storage, wastewater & air emission treatment systems, chemical storage & usage, fire fighting system, medical office, etc. After completing the assessment, we provide clients with a comprehensive report outlining key findings, non-compliance issues, recommended improvement measures, and additional consulting support to address any concerns.
Value for customers
Our compliance assessment framework was based on the latest legal updates, which were particularly significant at the time of project execution (2025). In 2025, Vietnam’s environmental regulations have some Amendments to articles of the government's Decree & Circular on elaboration of Law on Environmental Protection (72/2020/QH14) such as Decree 05/2025/ND-CP and Circular 07/2025/TT-BTNMT were issued. Notably, in 2025, the new National Technical Regulation on Industrial Wastewater (QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT), domestic wastewater (QCVN 14:2025/BTNMT), and industrial emissions (19:2024/BTNMT) are going to be effective from 2025.
In the field of chemical management, Amendment 1:2024 QCVN 05A:2020/BCT National technical regulation on safety in production, commerce, use, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals will be effective from 2025.
Besides this, the New Law on Fire and Rescue was issued at the end of 2024 and will be effective in 2025. Some other regulations as Decree 50/2024/ND-CP and Circular 55/2024/TT-BCA were issued and applied around the end of 2024
Through this project, we helped clients systematically review their management status while ensuring they stay up to date with the latest legal requirements in environmental protection and chemical management, Fire & Rescue, etc.
